Stop idolizing CHINA BAD celebrities so much. Just don’t listen, don’t pay attention. I remember, right around September 2020, Adrian Zenz was on CNN. That’s what they said, they said “We got Adrian Zenz on the phone. Let’s see what Adrian’s thoughts are on this tragedy.” Who gives a fuck what Adrian Zenz thinks at a time like this, my dude, this is ridiculous. I don’t want to fuckin’ read CIA propaganda, I’m suspicious as fuck. I want some answers that Adrian Zenz might not have right now. You think when bad shit happens to me, I’ll be in the crib like, Oh my god, this is terrible. Could somebody please find Adrian Zenz, get ahold of this motherfucker, so I can make sense of all this? Where is ADRIAN?"

I’m guessing this sort of vitriolic response is an aggressive defensive impulse developed against sealioning by actual reactionary assholes (which reddit is full of) - it isn’t the job of the oppressed to waste their own time to educate the oppressor, after all. Just like a time-wasting or concern-trolling sealion question, this post simultaneously shifts the burden of evidence away from the questioner and imposes a seemingly arbitrary standard of evidence. While opponents of western imperialism might take as given that Adrian Zenz isn’t necessarily credible, to a western liberal this looks like bad-faith goalpost-shifting in service of genocide denial.
I wasn’t attempting to excuse the Contrapoints mod’s assumptions of bad faith. I was trying to explain why this obviously good-faith question was attacked as if it were bad faith trolling. (Also, when I invoked the phrase “it’s not the job of the oppressed to educate the oppressor”, it was an attempted tongue-in-cheek illustration of the liberal mod’s defensiveness against actual bad faith sealioning, misapplied to this situtation, which reads as serious because the delivery was extremely deadpan.)
The mod got pissy with me for using the “Kehoe Paradigm” instead of the “precautionary principle.” I corrected her and said I was applying the dominance principle and she banned me. Lol dork got out-dorked and hit the eject button
