I don’t really know what to do with this information. But it’ll be interesting to see if Disney does anything about it .
Disney already owns the Punisher logo and they have basically their own private police force so why would they even give half a fuck?
Seems like they’d let their own personal police force use it, but get really mad about anybody else using it. They sued a dad because he wanted to out spiderman on his kids gravestone of all things. I don’t see why they wouldn’t go after a group of cops for making mandalorian challenge coins or whatever.
this poster just fucking outed themselves as a nerd
MYTHOSAUR what is a MYTHOSAUR
but anyway folk who were really into space warrior armor along with those stormtrooper enthusiasts were always gonna be fash adjacent.
I dunno. I just know that’s what it’s called. I’ve seen 8/9 of the movies and that’s it.
its a beast that was native to the mandolorian people’s home planet. It was really hard to kill/tame but the mandolorians did and it became a symbol for them
man no mention of the imperial base built inside the mythosaur skeleton fake fan

kinda related but i saw a guy over the summer with a neck tattoo of the mandalorian symbol lol
Man I can’t imagine getting ink of any TV show let alone that one. Been halfway through the first season and it’s enjoyable. That’s all. Specifically watch it on the exercise bike because any show that requires much thought and attention gets lost on me when exercising.
oh yikes. I’ve never seen the show so I just recognized the symbol from like kotor or that bounty hunter game, i didn’t even consider that he got the tattoo because of the show lmao. i hope I’ll see him again one day so I can ask him
Is there a word for that sublime state of mind when so many memetic markers are churned together, they lose all context and simply become a thing, disconnected from any meaning whatsoever? A thing that has so much accumulated baggage it no longer represents any of the components, and instead is it’s own self-reference? Is that what Kant was on about with Noumenon?
Same sort of thought-feel I get when staring at a large disaster site, or have a dissociative episode.
EDIT: Nested simulacra of a shibboleth or something? An idea without organs?
Nice, I knew i heard that concept before. Does Baudrillard have a word for when the simulation breaks & you dissociate for a minute? I really need to start expanding my library again.
