More like Jimmy BORE
(argue in the comments, but like, the WWE equivalent of arguing)
I saw Jimmy Dore at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Socialism is when ur nice and sweet

Dave Anthony (starts 23:11):
“Yeah…so I bailed on Twitter. Yeah Dave is really disappointed in all his fellow leftists. People are really fucking angry right now and they should be. That’s justifiable. I mean, this is the time when countries fall. This is – what we’re doing to our population, this is how governments get overthrown. And, you know, Jimmy Dore, people obviously have issues with how he handles himself, but he tapped into an anger and an energy that exists for a reason. And rather than dealing with the actual topic, which is ‘should we do this?’, this is actually interesting debate. It became about the messenger. And I’ve known Jimmy for 25 years. I know where Jimmy’s heart is. Jimmy is actually a very good guy. Jimmy declared bankruptcy because of medical debt and so he has an anger from that. And that’s a justifiable anger.”
“What I’ve seen is the left breaking into two camps, and there are activists and organizers saying don’t do this. And then there’s… But he’s tapping into something and it can’t be dismissed. Because pandemic politics, in history, are like no other time. There is no comparison to pandemic politics and how things work during pandemics. There’s just not. Everything gets flipped and everything gets fucking weird. Things change or powers that be crack down. It’s a really fucked up time, it just is. When someone taps into an energy and anger, you fucking use it. You don’t shit all over it. You just don’t shit on it. And that’s what I saw happening. I just saw people shitting on insta… [Josh talking ] There’s still people shitting on the idea.”
“We’re at a place where we have climate change coming. Ecofascism is getting itself in order really quick. And when you see that anger and you see people getting excited about stuff. I think we’re at a point where we need an NRA and a Sinn-Fein party. We’re in a place where it’s really fucking scary, the clock is ticking time. If everyone just wants to do organizing then you’re talking about a 20 year project. We don’t have that time, we need to hit people with everything we have. What Jimmy did is he filled a void momentarily exists of someone stepping into a leadership role. We desperately need a militant leftist leader. And a guy screaming, he tapped into something. Throughout history it’s something the right always had. That Father Coughlin, all these guys for years, that screaming loud guy, and we need that guy. It attracts people.”
" I tweeted something about this, my brother-in-law about 6 mo was like “have you heard of this Jimmy Dore guy?” and I was like yeah, I’ve been on his show. I’ve known him for years. He goes “I started watching his stuff.” He’s an electrician. A union electrician. And he works on new construction in San Francisco. A lot of sky-scrapery type buildings. He heard about Jimmy Dore, eating lunch with the other construction guys. There’s not a lot of fucking people on the left tapping into that. There’s just not. You’re pushing it all away and it’s a bad idea."
Anthony is no longer on Twitter, which is better for his mental health maybe but I loved watching him melt down over something. He’s good on The West Wing Thing. I’m getting into The Dollop, and has he moved left in recent years or is he less political in general in early Dollops?
He gets overtly more political as you get into it. He’s been leftist since the 80s if not earlier. The Dollop is designed to sneak up on libs.
#forcethevote was fucked as soon as it became super online. Also, every video I’ve seen of Jimmy Dore involves him plugging his show and getting mad that some people won’t go on his show. Even if he genuinely believes this, he can’t stop grifting.
Everybody complains about how the garbage truck smells bad when it drives by.
Still need that trash taken away though.
