Good idea. They should start with a plan to nationalize the banks, utilities, and natural resources. With state control of the banking sector, the government would get interest revenue from business loans, which they would use to make key strategic investments and infrastructure projects, designed at growing the productive sectors of the economy. They could do this according to five-year plans and make an economy that’s nearly immune to the boom-and-bust cycle that’s been so damaging. IDK just spitballing here
