Twice I’ve bought those glow in the dark stars and twice they never work. I’ve never felt so dumb. It surely shouldn’t be that hard?

Reading too. Less screen time is one of my goals for 2024.

Just put down a deposit for a wood heater for the living room.

I cannot wait for winter with a roaring fire and scary movies.

It’s not the government though? It’s a judicial issue.

Thankfully, we don’t have stats and all those metrics. Just some real interesting IT users.

IT Support ticket we got this morning: hi, the keyboard I am using, the backspace doesn’t work. I’ve looked around for another one…oh hang on I cleaned it out and there was a paperclip underneath it. All good now.

And they submitted it, lol.

In other news, it’s so weird hearing about the crazy weather you guys are getting yet it hasn’t rained at all here. We usually get the same weather as Melbs, maybe a day or so later.

And in good news. I finished working on my latest book, and now editing and getting the covers planned for Books 4 and 5 of VDV.

And in more good news, Netflix are adapting another Fear Street novel - The Prom Queen. I am excited!

Hope you’re all doing good.

3 species of snakes in Tassie.

All 3 are venomous.

Took little one to St Helens over easter and she almost stepped on a copperhead. Even now I have these ‘what if’ thoughts if she stepped on it because we were remote.

I did a little bit of googling but wondering if anyone else might know, what kind of alcohol would they have drunk in pubs around the 1890s? It appears it was mostly beer and rum - which is a bit wild to me. I don’t associate rum with Australia at all and I think of that time, I think of American westerns and drinkin’ whiskey yeehaw!

These are the small steps to recovery and good on you. You may not read as much as you used too, but you’re also probably living a completely different life that you may not have the time to read as much.

But you read or listen to audiobooks and watch movies and that’s just as good.
