I have a large breed dog, over 100lbs at two years old. Our vet told us for him to sleep 14-18 hours in a twenty four period was fantastic, dogs sleep when they’re relaxed, if the dogs young, that’s when the growing happens.
I wish I could sleep that much. I’m jealous of our four legged sleepyheaded comrades.

I’ve made friends with three guys who are from our province but have been living here [in Kabul] for more than 15 years. We sometimes go to Qargha, Bagh-e Wahsh [Kabul Zoo], Sarobi and Tapa-ye Wazir Akbar Khan. To be honest, every time I go with them, they pressure me to play and listen to music in the car. At first, I was resisting, but now I have given in, with the one condition that they turn it off when passing through security checkpoints because many other Taleban don’t like it, and it’s bad for a Taleb to be seen listening to it.

I say this as ex army: marines are the fucking stupidest branch. The most brain washed, brain worm branch in the armed forces and possibly the world.
Routinely on excercises they would have a colossal fuck up and we would watch an entire company or battalion have to get punished. We would point and laugh our asses off at them. One time their (company? First? Idk American terms) Sergeant Major complained about us to our Sergeant Major about it, and ours said maybe if your troops weren’t so fucking dumb, my troops wouldn’t laugh at them. It almost started a fight but cooler heads prevailed (the air force guys were also laughing, and encouraged all parties to chill)
