The current media cycle is also doing this to be anti-Black. This has put lots of Asian and Black activists in an awkward position. Asian-American leftists feel a bit uneasy pulling Black Americans into an issue they deservedly need to have a say in, and Black activists want to give the spotlight to the Asian community despite how parts of the Asian-American community are not listening very carefully to how the Black community voices their Asian-American support. I then go on r/nba and I see dog whistles over Lebron James’ vaccination and China stances, and those reddit netizens are really hell bent on attacking Black people for what was said towards Jeremy Lin.

The early years of MMOs were wild. Everquest came out, tons were inspired from it, then WoW came out and so many ‘WoW killers’ were good games but didn’t deliver. I think a big part of why MMOs have kind of fallen off (it’s not that big a fall off in the grand scheme of things since gaming is so big) is the gacha and mobile spheres are much more profitable.

The more bullshit of a job you have, the more likely you aren’t doing anything contributing to anything. Sure, you might move numbers from one excel sheet or answer some client’s phone call who has some type of special need with their product, but you do not need to sit on your ass 9 hours a day while having bullshit meetings in between. If manual laborers strike, you will see real material results from the lack of work being done. Once an office worker strikes you will see results but you won’t see any difference from the highest of high levels if a CEO goes on strike. Office workers who do real work get treated like shit too though, tons of call center and low level IT jobs are complete ass despite being vital.
