To play devils advocate is it any different from agitating for a revolution that its obvious to even the most casual observers is not going to happen?
I mean we’re leaving out huge chunks of history like the literal meat grinder war that had millions of russians dying from guns, gas, and starvation, or the fact that the chuds of their day - Tsar loving peasants and priests - walked up to the winter palace asking their beloved ruler to fight for their labor rights then getting roflstomped by the imperial guards.
Or the fact that communists for the past few decades were literally among the people teaching them the basics of class struggle to the point that even gnarly old peasants could talk about how their labor was being stolen by their landlords

Yes. Agitating at least helps heighten the conflict to the point where it is no longer so obvious a revolution isn’t possible. “Vote Blue No Matter Who!” is already the dominant strategy, it is the decay everyone is freaking out about. Contra is the lib version of the Trumpers who kept pretending like Trump wasn’t already president.
Also like…one is telling you that just do this one awful thing and tell yourself it is good actually and you have power; while the other is agitating and screaming to anyone who will listen that there is SOMETHING anything that can be done. Just being fed up and saying “we can demand better than this, this is not ok” is far far far better than getting people to just vote blue and then go to bed.
Agitating for revolution is not claiming that it will happen or be a switch getting flipped, vote blue openly misleads people as to the nature of power

This is beside the point, but it’s kinda ridiculous how she makes no mention of an archaic system that favors rural areas (what were formerly slave owners) to prevent the “tyranny of the majority.” Fuck electoralism to bits, but at least try to make a good point when grandstanding to a bunch of soc dems and democrats who chose not to vote. Again, as shit as Hillary was, she would’ve won the election in a normal country, you’d get your blue president and then she would get rocked in 2020 (or 2024) after nothing changed

84M people voted for Biden. We had some of the highest turning in decades. This, after Obama set records in 2008 and - despite an underwelming first term - still turning out a winning majority for himself and again for Hillary. Not to mention the high turnout in 2018 that gave Dems the House.
Where the fuck are all the non-voters hiding? Who is she scolding? Who lost a race thanks to non-voters?
