- America supported and benefited from the mass privatization of the former USSR that destroyed nationalized industries and put them into the hands of oligarchs
- America supported right wing extremists in Ukraine and Russia for decades
- NATO expanded right up to the Russian border despite assurances to Gorbachev this would not happen

That is a good thread. It’s very weird seeing people so interested in Maupin and the Larouchites and RedHaz, since as far as I know all of them together have maybe a few hundred followers.
For those of us on the internet ideology war the Vaushites are the primary ideological enemy we have to deal with right now.
More specifically what I mean is socdems that present themselves as ““leftists”” and argue against everything to the left of them. They exist to sheepdog would-be radicals away from socialists.
Nobody else poses any opposition to the left. The neoliberals are easily dealt with, as are the fascists, nobody else is actively harming the left. It is ONLY this ideological group that is hurting leftist growth and leftist education.
