Grew up poor, so the version I remember was extra-special. Hog scraps (think lips & assholes versus head meat) bound together with corn meal mush… had to eat that shit for breakfast as a kid. When frying the thin slices (spam musubi style) this white, puss-looking goo would leak out of it. That smell… woof.
This is either hilariously true
My vote is for this… The industrial capacity of China is roughly comparable to the US + Japan + Germany. While relatively poor in domestic natural resources to support this capacity, it would seem they are currently making arrangements to address that.
HOT TAKE: Go ahead, idiots… I’m sure a few trillion more on DoD welfare will make all the difference, lol. Just borrow the money from… China? The more heavily the US becomes indebted, the greater the chance it will eventually be kicked out of the global capitalist system. It took Russia over 25 years to pay off a measly $70 billion in foreign debts accrued by the USSR… all for the privilege of being part of the capitalist financial system.
Ngl, it gives off Bentham’s panopticon vibes…
I have aphantasia, so writing intended to conjure visual imagery doesn’t work for me.
I use it to make collard greens. That’s it.
muenster
Seems to me that Delaware could just revoke Tesla’s corporate charter if they refuse to fulfill their contractual obligations. Otherwise, what purpose is there in giving the company a legal standing to sign said contracts in the first place?
I wouldn’t say your guesses are wrong, but the core of the conservative political project is the dismantling of the regulatory state as a check against the power of private capital. If, in service of this goal, an incipient theocratic ethno state also benefits, that’s a happy coincidence…
