It’s kinda crazy to me that morbius has left such an impact, perhaps akin to a scar, on the super hero genre that “it’s morbin time” is so iconic, but nobody actually bothered to watch it. It’s like if an in joke between me and my friends became the slogan of the vanguard party. None of you know me or my friends, but you’re still saying my joke?

I can imagine the execs at WB are really hoping that this type of meme comes in and gives it a boost. Especially since it seems like they are kinda in the red.

Shazam, the first one at least, works with that aesthetic because its actually a coming of age comedy story. The costume and even the effects being sort of cheesy just makes it more endearing to be honest. I actually think its the best power rangers movie ever made.
