Lol DC can’t stop taking L’s. Every single one of their cinematic universe attempts have been disastrous. Maybe some have made a profit, but they’ve failed to launch a coherent product. It’s funny that the only movies to have much critical praise were Joker and Robert Battinson. But I suspect Joker 2 with Lady Gaga will have mixed reviews because 1. it’s a fucking musical and 2. the BTS footage looks like it’s retreading old ground

Shazam, the first one at least, works with that aesthetic because its actually a coming of age comedy story. The costume and even the effects being sort of cheesy just makes it more endearing to be honest. I actually think its the best power rangers movie ever made.
