It’s “22 skidoo” and it’s ancient rhyming slang from the Roaring Twenties. The 23 one was made up by an author because for some reason he decided 23 was the “number of chaos” or some shit.

From what I’ve read, that’s why they’re always paying for dominatrix services and such. It’s called “decision fatigue” and they plain just get tired of being in control all day. It’s refreshing to turn off your brain and just do what someone else commands for a change.

They quit being funny some time in Obama’s second term. There was this element of bitterness and spite that crept into their articles and they just weren’t fun any more. Trump, of course, broke them the same way he did all liberal brains. Now they just spit and hiss, which is no fun at all.

You really have to use Youtube’s subscription services and like feature. When you start liking things, you get more of them. When you subscribe to channels, you go to your subscriptions list and find out what delightful creations have been prepared for you today. If you’re logged out…well yeah you’re going to get a bunch of random crap.

It’s actually pretty cool how “the algorithm” will dig up things you might like. I’ve found some really good channels that lack discoverability. 500 subscribers, totally specialized in what I like. It’s how I found this channel , which is just marvelous. Or this one, which doesn’t update often but when it does it’s super interesting, and if you’re not subscribed you’ll either miss when they upload or forget about them since it’s been so long.
